Our Global R&D team works on a diverse range of products and technology including intelligent camera systems, battery sipping security sensors, advanced access control solutions, bespoke user interface devices and the Verisure Central Unit which acts as the "brain" of the system enabling communications between all devices and the Verisure backend.
About the role
Based in Malmö, you as a Scrum master supports the teams in several ways, including coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality, helping the teams focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done and facilitate the scrum meetings.
In addition, you will coach your team members to be able to use interactions over processes and tools. You will have an important role where you enable creativity and engage others to increase efficiency.
You are expected to act as the interface for the team, where you ensure communications with all relevant stakeholders and representation in requested forums. You will also be responsible for driving knowledge sharing and continuous improvement where you challenge ways of working.
The North Alarm & Group CU Base team is expanding in both responsibility and size and to secure the continues growth. The Scrum Master will support our two software development teams responsible for the Central Unit which acts as the "brain" of our monitored alarm system. Each team typically consist of around 10 developers and testers.
About the candidate profile - What you bring
We are looking for a person who has a natural passion for driving and ensuring collaboration between the Scrum team and Product Owner able to act as a good ambassador of Agile practices and coach individuals over processes and tools.
You can support the team for better creativity and strive to improve the efficiency in the development team. Additionally, you can set up and facilitate retrospectives, sprint reviews and sprint planning sessions; while shielding the team from interruptions during the sprint.
You will also be responsible for working jointly with the Product Owner and test leader to plan the sprints according to the velocity and capacity of the teams.
Qualifications
* University degree or equivalent
* Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies
* At least 2 years ' of experience working as Scrum Master
* Certified in agile methods or frameworks preferred
* Experience with embedded development teams preferred
* Proficient English skills, both written and oral
