Job Purpose:
For this role you will lead and streamline the agile processes within the Engineering Development department, ensuring efficient workflows, clear documentation, and effective use of digital tools. The role also involves a strong emphasis on Jira system administration, ensuring projects are structured optimally and that time-tracking data is accurately analyzed. You will work alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.
In this position, you are responsible for supporting the administration and configuration of a Jira and Confluence Cloud instance supporting 400+ users and constantly expanding.
Key Responsibilities:

Guide and support cross-functional teams in adopting and adhering to Agile methodologies.

Administer, customize, and configure Jira workflows to align with project requirements.

Facilitate sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Educate team leads and members on best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Analyze time-tracking data within Jira for accurate project tracking and reporting.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure clear process documentation and digitalization.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies within the department.

Successful implementation and adherence to Agile practices within teams.

Timely and accurate reporting of project statuses.

Continuous improvement in process efficiency and transparency.

Positive feedback from engineering teams regarding process clarity and support.

Need to have:
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
-
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and their application in software and hardware development.

Strong understanding of a scaled Agile framework e.g. SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale ect.

Proficiency in Jira system administration, including maintenance, customization, and configuration of workflows.
-
Demonstrated experience in process digitalization and documentation within engineering projects.
-
Hands-on experience in assisting development teams with Jira projects and tasks.

Expertise in tracing and analyzing time-tracking data within Jira is a plus
Experience:
-
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in an engineering or product development environment.

Experience in working with or implementing a scaled Agile framework to manage large programs of work or portfolios

Experience in developing and delivering educational programs for engineering teams.

Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
