Job Description:
Analyze customer requirements, recommend deployment architectures, and consult on configuration management and requirements best practices.
Define and document customer requirements and specifications for configuration, reports, integration, and data migration related to Serena products.
Coming up with a proposal for implementation of SBM processes that meets the needs and business processes of the organization
Designing and implementing SBM processes for the organization that will help optimizing the business process as well as integration the SBM implementation with other systems
Providing guidelines and training other members of staff on how to use the system
Documenting the processes, implementation specifications and change requests
Leading team, working with large teams and monitoring their work
Keeping track of the business processes and changes, upgrade it according the need of the organization
Configure and maintain Serena products in support of customer requirements.
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy reports, integration, and data migration for Serena products in support of customer requirements.
Baseline, release, deploy, and build software according to the customers schedule and in accord with standards and best practices.
Support enterprise change control boards to include QA of change requests prior to elevation to board.
Design and execute test plans to insure correct function of development deliverables
Participate in meetings where objectives and requirements are articulated and defined.
Adhere to development lifecycle processes of SBM.
Deliver project task responsibilities correctly and on-schedule.
Professional Competences:
Should have very good presentation and communication skills
Should be able to communicate complex problems to other people in a simple way that they will understand
Proven mediatory role in SBM projects
Relevant education and work experience which is sufficient to demonstrate proficiency in technical and non-technical requirements of the position.
Strong knowledge of Windows XP/2003/7, JavaScript, XML.
Key Skills:
J2EE: JDBC, JavaMail, EJB, BPM
Spring: core, jdbc, jpa, security, web services, integration,
batch, aop, mvc, quartz scheduler.
Web Services: Axis 1.x, Axis 2.x, JAX-WS, Spring WS (contract-first).
XML: schema definition, XMLBeans, JAXB, XSL, Xpath.
Web: JSP, JSF (IceFaces), Struts 1.x & 2.x, Tiles, Applets, JAWS, JNLP, JSTL, custom taglibs, servlets, filters.
Application/web servers: JBoss AS, Tomcat
Should be proficient in Microsoft Word packages such as Access, Excel, etc
Solid computer based background and an excellent understanding of software systems.
