Metso Conveyor Solutions offers the most complete and versatile product range for the market to maximize the efficiency and safety around conveyors. We are looking for a Sales Oriented RTD Engineer to our office in Trelleborg.
The role offers an exciting mix of product development and sales support in an international environment. The main focus will be on developing our mining product range and to improve new and existing products. You will create and maintain the necessary technical documentation and provide technical product support in relation to Product Managers, Market Area Managers, internal production units and, where relevant, to our sales unit. Technical support, including technical quotation documents such as proposal and manufacturing drawings, product information, training, supervision and product selection is also part of your daily work. You will be working with products belonging to a new category within the Conveyor Accessories product range, and the idea is to work in parallel with the Global Product Manager to launch and support the sales organizations with the new product offering.
Requirements
• Min. a B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Min. 2 years experience in design and product development.
• Experience from working with construction & mining products is an advantage.
• Good knowledge and experience in 3D-CAD modelling, preferably in Autodesk Inventor.
• Good project management skills.
• Structured, analytical and able to work under pressure.
• Driven, committed and with a good business mind.
• Ability to work in a team and being a flexible team player.
• Ability to act individually and, if necessary working as a supervisor.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere.
• Comfortable to travel globally, sometimes with short notice.
• Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing, and preferably also French.
• Driving license.
• High skills in using the MS-Office tools, especially Excel.
• Experience from working in a SAP environment is a plus, but not a requirement.
