We are looking for an experienced and talented Sales Operations Director to Husqvarna Construction!
About us
Husqvarna Construction business has expanded rapidly during the last years which is partly due to four important acquisitions in the division. With changes in the market and in customers buying behavior Husqvarna Construction Sales & Services EMAL (Europe, Middle-East and Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America) is facing new exciting opportunities and challenges. To ensure future competitiveness and to better meet our customers' needs we seek a Sales Operations Director who will have a crucial part in the journey securing exceptional end-to-end customer satisfaction.
The Sales Operations Director will be part of a newly formed and cross functional organization which consists of three central departments; Sales Support, Aftermarket and Business Development supporting eight regions covering Sales & Services EMAL. This person will support and cooperate closely with the different regions as well with the central functions. Your team, also being based in Jonsered, includes Operations Logistics Manager, Customer Service Manager and a Central Demand planning team.
About the job
The Sales Operations Director has the ultimately responsibility for Central Demand Planning, Central Customer Service and Operational Logistics ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of the functions in order to drive exceptional end-to-end customer satisfaction. As this is a new strategically important role in Sales & Service EMAL your work will have great impact supporting sales growth and customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service shaping the future of Husqvarna Construction. You will be responsible for creating new processes and routines, forming the basics and the framework of this position and how we will work operationally within this area.
Key responsibilities and tasks includes:
Being responsible for managing all aspects of the central sales planning process and demand planning process
Managing the daily operations of the central warehousing and forwarding service providers as well as driving continuous efficiency improvements in sales company warehousing and secondary transportation
Managing the central customer service operations including develop key performance metrics, develop digital platforms, automatization of tasks that will drive efficiency improvements and ultimately customer satisfaction.

In this position you will be part of the management team and participate in management decision-making processes concerning sales ordering processes issues and procedures. Moreover, you will serve as an escalation point for the resolution of a process and/or system issue. As this is a leadership position you will manage a team of direct reports.

In this role you will report to VP Sales & Services EMAL. The position includes flexible relation to traveling Globally according to what the position requires.

Your profile
We are searching for an independent person holding a strong business acumen and strong drive and sense of urgency. In order to succeed in this role we believe you have great analytical skills and ability to conduct analysis of complex data, and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations. You understand the whole value chain, have an holistic perspective and strategic mindset when developing and implementing strategies. The role also requires you to have great ability to plan, organize and prioritize work effectively. As this role includes many interactions excellent communication and interpersonal skills is of importance.

Required skills and qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in business/marketing/Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience working in sales, business or supply chain/ logistics operations
Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies, as well as ability to plan strategies and future operation goals effectively
Great leadership skills and experience in management and leading a team
Solid knowledge in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems of all levels of complexity
Experience from working in a global context and cross functionally
Fluent English both orally and in writing
