Job description
We are expanding our activities in Sweden and are looking for a Sales Engineer. Your tasks are described in detail as follows:
Preparation of technical offer scope and calculation
Technical explanation and customer consultation on product offering
Preparation of proposals and support in negotiation of proposals and complex contracts with our customers until the final contract closing
Preparation of bids in tender processes
Analysis of customer needs and ensuring customer satisfaction
Analysis of technical market requirements and feedback of these market requirements into the product development process
Working with CRM tool
Coordination with related departments during sales and/or tender process
Management of the internal sales and engineering process and hand-over to the project execution departments
Communication with the customer from first contact until contract conclusion
In your role you will report to the Country Manager Sweden and functionally to the Head of Sales Engineering located in the Headquarter in Hamburg, Germany.
Job requirements
You should hold a Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have the following experience and qualification:
Experience within sales of machinery or investment goods and work experience with sales to utilities is an asset
Strong communication and negotiation skills
High integrity and motivation
Energy production/distribution knowledge is an asset
Knowledge of alternative energy solutions and regulatory frame work
Native Swedish speaking, Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English, knowledge of a further Nordic language is an advantage
Ready to work in a dynamic and fast developing atmosphere
Understanding of intercultural communication
Proactive and result oriented approach with strategic and analytical skills
Skilled in working with figures
Strong organizational skills
Competence in MS Office applications
Willingness to travel on a regular basic
Willingness and ability to enhance existing knowledge and the ability to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with new subjects are mandatory
