You have a degree (bachelor's or master's) and at least 5 years' experience in system engineering in the IT industry, some of which includes customer relations. Your mind is tuned to systems, applications and business. You combine deep technical interest with good problem-solving competence, as well as good social skills, networking ability, and sensitivity to cultural differences. You're fluent in English and Swedish. Other language skills, particularly in Spanish and Portuguese, would be welcome.

OUR SYSTEM & SERVICES UNIT - YOUR BASE
We're globally responsible for Axis' service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for complementary system components and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
Our Sales Engineering team is the interface towards the global sales organization regarding technical system and applications issues and assisting in project sales. We're the experts in application and system issues internally, as well as external interfaces towards partners and end users.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As our Sales Engineer for the Americas, you'll be deeply involved in delivery projects that are complex from technical, logistical and commercial standpoints, all requiring swift and politically correct handling. The specifics include:
• assisting in project sales in cooperation with your local pre-sales engineer
• building application knowledge for a specific business segment
• building and running the pre-sales network for your region and together with your team globally
• taking part in events and training in Lund and in your region as an application expert
• acting proactively in the technical interface to our major global partners
• acting as a trouble-shooter and coordinator to solve complex technical problems in major deals and sales projects
