With an idea to offer secure and simple payment solutions, Klarna was founded that same year. Six years have passed and we have grown to an ambitious and creative company of 500 employees. We have been awarded Company of the Year in -07 (bragging), increased our turnover by 13 570 % (statistics) and managed to become the Nordic market leader (facts). Klarna is partly owned by Investment AB Öresund and Sequoia Capital - a company that saw the same potential in Google, YouTube and Apple Computer, as they do in us. We think that is a good start.
Since the start in 2005 Klarna has experienced a strong growth and as the whole company is continuously expanding, bigger challenges arise. At the head office in Stockholm, Sales Controlling is working to optimize the sales organization?s economic interests in all of our six markets. As a Sales Controller at Klarna, it is this energetic team that you will be a part of. The position includes analysis and optimization of e.g.; pricing strategies, incentive programs, internal and external processes and the development and management of the sales organization?s reporting structure. You will also be the one giving operational input in various financial projects with other departments at Klarna.
The working structure at Klarna is project based, with both short and long term goals, and you will handle these projects individually as well as in different group constellations. You will often be working with new, demanding and innovative projects, but at the same time be able to fall back on re-occurring tasks as e.g. data reporting and profitability analysis. Your daily work will also contain a great deal of communication with all departments at Klarna - in Sweden as well as around Europe. Excel and Power Point will be your primary work tools.
We are looking for you who have recently graduated with a Master degree, or equivalent, in economics or engineering, preferably with specialization in Finance or Business Administration. You have worked alongside your studies or have a few years experience from a similar position. We also believe that you have acquired other experiences through extracurricular activities.
You are fluent in English, both written and oral. Knowledge in Swedish, German, Dutch or Finnish is considered a merit. You have good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and Power Point, as these tools are used daily.
You are highly committed in everything you do and you are willing to go that extra mile if needed. Your analytical ability makes you able to identify and structure even the most unconventional problems and turn them in to clear recommendations. Recommendations that you often will act upon yourself, implementing your suggested solutions. Furthermore, you are a self-starter who enjoys delivering strong results upon given deadlines.
