Schneider Electric is looking for a SERE (Safety, Environment & Real Estate) Manager to the Plant & Distribution Center in Västerhaninge. As SERE Manager in Västerhaninge you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, passionate and diverse team. We have more than 80 years within HVAC and Building automation, we manufacture and deliver worldwide.
The SERE Manager is part of the management team, reporting to the Plant & Distribution Center Manager and will strongly collaborate with the SERE central team in Stockholm and France.
The position is key in the organization, you are the specialist in your area of responsibility and business partner to the Plant & Distribution Center Manager and the management team on site. You will manage the SERE function within the site and work with managers and people in all the aspects of Safety, Health, Environment and Facility Management. In constant partnership with Plant & Distribution Center Manager, you will propose efficient solutions that are suited to the business challenges and guarantees the compliance with the regulations in the fields as well as the application of Group SERE policies.
The responsibility includes both improving existing, as well as implementing new programs, policies, procedures, and guidelines in the areas of Safety, Health, Environment and Facility Management. You will be a strong actor in the change management.
As a person you are rigorous, structured, have a strong drive and are passionate about safety and environment. You should be a committed leader enjoying collaboration and have the ability to see the bigger picture as well as understand complexity.
Your skills and experience
• University degree in engineering or equal
• Proven and documented ability to successfully manage and lead a team
• Experience in a specialist role related to safety issues including documented ability to guide, support and follow-up managers in safety related issues
• Experience from working with safety on a strategic level, meaning driving the safety work in new direction, implement new standards and routines
• Change management & influence/convince skills
• Six Sigma
• Environmental, health and safety laws
