For this long-term assignment, we are looking for someone who will play an important role in developing ALTEN's growth and partnership with one of our biggest clients. You will be supporting a diverse project group, consisting of Software Architects and Developers among others, with security expertise in the conceptual design decisions. The work will be carried out from ALTEN's head office in Stockholm, and will therefore include close collaboration with stakeholders, ALTEN's different Business Units and ALTEN's Technical Unit Management Team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• To support with expert competence in functional safety
• Analyze business requirements and the requirements of the stakeholders
• To analyze the safety of the technologies in the architecture (software & hardware)
• Identify possible scenarios posing hazards and risks
• Perform architectural reviews from a safety perspective
• Write project documentation
To be successful in this role, we would like to see that you meet the following requirements:
• Have experience from working with functional safety and hold a deep understanding of functional safety standards
• Experience of Risk Analysis, FMEA, FTA
• Hold a M.Sc. in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Team-player with exceptional communication skills
• Fluent in English, writing and speaking
It is also of merit if you possess any of the following:
• Experience from reliability evaluation of hardware
• Railway or Industrial domain knowledge
• Knowledge of at least SIL2
• Understanding of software and services, cloud development, embedded systems development and hardware design
Emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Therefore, it is important that you also demonstrate expert ability and experience in the following areas:
Communicability
A good specialist should be able to talk with customers in the language of business, managers of all levels, business analysts and developers in their languages. To explain actions correctly, a Security Manager must have natural charisma and the ability to convince people.
Analytic skills
One of the most important tasks is the ability to represent an abstract problem in the form of some finite real object of the system, which can be evaluated, designed and developed.
