What you will be part of
For more than a year, you will participate in an international programme that is uniquely designed to boost your career as well as to provide you with the right toolbox to develop as a leader. From day one, you will be appointed to a position with permanent employment at one of Saab's sites worldwide.This position will be within the Gripen General Marketing Team, within Gripen Sales & Marketing Support, Aeronautics. General Marketing team has around 5 team members.The General Marketing team has around 5 team members. This team interacts with departments across other Business Areas within Sweden aswell as Market Area Organisations globally.
Your role
During the programme, you will get the opportunity to create an overall understanding of the company that will prepare you for an exciting future together with us. Your development will be aligned with Saab's business goals and the programme will enable you to contribute to our business and take part in actual projects.The role will be to work with marketing support activities for Gripen that include Sales oulook, Market plan, Business & Competitor Intelligence, internal and external customer interfacing and also bid and offer project work. A key task is related to converting analysis to operational and strategic decisions. Customer focus. A lot of what we do is natually focused to customers, but front end dealing with customers will not be a major part of this role to begin with. However understanding how customers think, and what they want and need will be important.
Your skills and experience
As we are looking for future leaders, you need to have a genuine interest in people. You have an overall business understanding, possess a strategic thinking and deliver excellent results. Your motivation and commitment help you, and people around you, to perform on a daily basis. To apply for this program you have a maximum of 2 years work experience.Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or something similar. Fluent in English. Swedish good to have. Other languages are preferable. Some positions have tasks including defense secrecy. In such circumstances you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
