hela Sverige Role: SRE Resident Engineer
SRE is a leading global tier1 automotive supplier developing ME2 systems, scalable camera monitoring solutions, with electronics and software delivers the latest camara monitoring system to the customer.
The project is 100% on-site where you will be supporting the Design team in remote and ensuring project and customer deliverables for the CMS project. In short you will be the first point of contact for the customer onsite in all technical subjects for Volvo CMS system. You'll be a bridge between customer and your companies engineering team. You will work with their E-Systems product portfolio that enables advanced driving solutions today, while creating future-focused technologies for tomorrow's vehicle architectures and user experiences.
Day - to - Day Task:
• Resident Engineer accountable for the communication between the customer and the company to ensure that deliverables fully satisfy customer.
• Representing the team at the customer
• Interfacing the gaps between customer expectations and team understanding
• Report and escalation to program / Project team and customer also if needed.
• Contributing to the analysis of requirements allocated to the team.
• Clarifying the requirements with customer
• Identifying with the customer potential innovative solutions
• Willingness to get hands on to take data from vehicles and solve issues around sensor integration.
• Ability to clearly communicate on technical topics with non-technical colleagues and across levels in organization.
• Experience authoring technical description documents and specification.
• Technical skills advanced in automotive engineering and systems.
• Knowledge in DoorsNG, Vector tools, CAN, LIN, flash tools
• ASPICE knowledge on basic level
• Preferable: Volvo Trucks & SRE process experienced (customer portals, infrastructure, ...)
Preferable skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Computer / Electrical Engineering or equivalent, more preferred if it's a master's degree, with Automotive domine.
• Fluent advanced English language skills
• Experience in exciting and international projects
