Are you an engineer or applied mathematician with an interest for programming? Would you like to apply yourself to improving the quality of life for people with cancer? Do you experience flow when working on difficult mathematical problems? If so, you could be the one RaySearch is looking for to strengthen its research department.
The focus of our research department is to ensure the long term development of new methods and techniques for radiation therapy treatment planning. Our primary tool is the cutting-edge proprietary treatment planning system, RayStation. RayStation interfaces easily with python and Matlab which makes it the ideal tool for prototyping and evaluating new ideas. As a part of the group, you will be conducting method investigations, exploring and evaluating the feasibility and efficacy of new proposed approaches to treatment planning. In doing this, you are expected to come up with your own brilliant ideas and solutions. The role requires exceptional analytical skills, a solid mathematical background and a passion for problem solving.

Qualifications:
MSc in engineering physics, applied mathematics or equivalent
Profound understanding of mathematics
Fluency in Matlab
Industriousness, resourcefulness and brilliance
Knowledge of C# and/or C++ and/or Python is considered a merit
Fluency in Swedish and English
