Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre in Alnarp, looks for a Research Assistant. The work will focus on data mining and development of statistical models to integrate fire risks in decision support in forestry.
Qualifications:
Candidate should possess strong GIS and data analysis skills, excellent communication skills and be well versed in the analysis of Swedish forestry data. Finished or ongoing project on the spatial analysis of fire data, managed by the candidate, is a clear asset. Fluent English and driving license is a must. Ability to speak and understand Swedish is valued. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of the researchers with a wide range of expertise, stretching from forestry to fire ecology.
