The Center for Family Enterprise at House of Innovation seeks to strengthen its team with a new key player.

The Center for Family Enterprise (CFE) at House of Innovation was launched in 2022 with support from SEB and some leading Nordic business families and their family offices; such as Ferd in Norway, Topsoe in Denmark, Salenia Invest and HMP Foundation in Sweden and Virala in Finland.

We are now offering a unique fulltime Research Analyst (RA) position to work closely on research and outreach projects with the core team at SSE and HOI as well as with key external stakeholders within the area of family office and family investment companies.

The position is of limited duration - starting in May 2023 or no later than August 28, 2023 and lasting until next summer, at most to July 31, 2024.

The post will be based at the SSE premises in the heart of Stockholm and we offer 26,000 SEK as monthly wage (with additional pension and social security contributions). For the right candidate, a lot of flexibility will be provided. There will be ample opportunity to build a unique network within the areas of family office and family investment companies, which is a rapidly growing phenomenon of major importance in the Nordics and globally.

The primary task of the RA will be to assist faculty at the center in research related tasks. This can, for example, consist of preparing data sets, gathering data, working on developing questionnaires, help in making presentations, figures or surveying parts of a literature. The task will include interaction with leading stakeholders in the center's focus areas. For more information about the Center for Family Enterprise, please visit:

The position is primarily designed for graduating M.Sc. students but there can be some flexibility for exceptional last year B.Sc. students.

The position will provide unique insights in and exposure to an evolving segment of the financial industry and strategic advisory industry and can function both as a pathway to future doctoral studies, or to the world of private wealth management and family offices, as well as consulting with the areas of strategy, corporate governance and business development.

We will review applications continuously until the position is filled, so please do not wait with sending in yours. The application should include:

- CV incl. name of two references,
- a record of courses taken and grades,
- the most advanced academic paper you have written, and
- a short letter of motivation
We look forward to receiving your application. For inquires, please do not hesitate to contact Professor Mattias Nordqvist, Director of Center for Family Enterprise or Dr Erik Wetter, Assistant Professor and Docent, Center for Family Enterprise.
