Job Background / Context:
Citi continues to expand its Commercial Banking business in the Nordic Region, serving
predominantly the mid-sized corporate segment focused on a variety of growth industries with
international banking needs. The Citi Commercial Bank ("CCB") team compliments Citi's existing
Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory business that has operated in the Nordics since the 1970s.
Primary responsibilities of the Senior Relationship Manager are to build relationships while providing
solutions for CCB Nordics clients. The role involves day-to-day cooperation and collaboration with
products, operations, implementation and risk management teams at all levels (country, regional
and global) in order to source, develop and grow client relationships. The individual in this role will
have responsibility for developing solutions and product proposals for CCB clients in Sweden,
Denmark, Finland and Norway along with various internal partners, supporting the onboarding
process of clients, and building and maintaining a client portfolio.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
• Acquire new, multi-product clients for the Bank and manage those relationships on an
ongoing basis. Own, respond to, uncover and anticipate future needs, roadblocks or risks
and expectations;
• Client-level planning, budget and revenue responsibilities. Identify cross-sell opportunities to
deepen and increase share of wallet;
• Work closely with EMEA TTS implementation team, CCB Cash Sales Managers, Underwriting
/ Risk teams, Markets experts and RM Associates on a daily basis. Interaction with other CCB
structures across the globe. Collaborate with BCMA Nordics teams to develop opportunities;
• Participate in structuring solutions specific to client / industry segment while maintaining
overall accountability for clients / transactions and building / strengthening an effective
portfolio;
• Administrate the credit relationship of clients, coordinate and supervise the entire process,
ensuring the proper application of policies and institutional processes;
• Maximize client experience by proactively sharing markets updates, trends and intelligence;
• Monitor and support products' implementation processes. Manage customers and
transactions in the CRM platform;
• Verify adherence to global KYC (Know Your Customer) standards during the onboarding
process and, on an ongoing basis, ensuring the appropriate compliance deliverables are met;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies / guidelines at all time;
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular
consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by
driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying
sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and
escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Knowledge:
• Sound knowledge of banking, treasury / lending / markets products and processes, as well as
a solid track record of providing effective and thought out banking and financial advice and
solutions to clients;
• Demonstrate an expert level of Early Warning Detection skills. Ability to follow through on
risks / issues and track them to closure;
• Demonstrate expert level credit skills; capable of structuring all credit deals and guiding staff
through the credit deal approval process;
• Experience in managing multiple project timelines and prioritizations;
• Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (e.g. negotiation, consultative
skills, leadership);
• Highly focused, able to rapidly identify key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities;
• Accountable for significant direct business results and provide advice regarding the
operations and growth of the business;
• A proactive approach in looking for ways to develop new and strengthen existing business
relationships with clients, delivers a simple, secure and seamless client experience;
• Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience
that we deliver for our clients;
• Must have a sharp business development focus and demonstrate innovative approaches;
• Able to quickly adapt priorities based on the latest data insights;
• Experience in Commercial / Relationship Banking with international customers;
• Demonstrate thought leadership. Ability to create long-term trust and advisory based
relationships will clients;
• In-depth knowledge of regulations, market practices and bank operations.

• Technical skills: MS Office, PowerPoint knowledge, good understanding of ERP and TMS
software;
• Working level knowledge of one or multiple regional languages preferred: Swedish, Danish,
Finnish, Norwegian.
Experience / Education:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the field of banking, relationship management,
credit
• Graduate/Master's degree
