You probably have an education within electrical engineering or similar but most importantly you have knowledge of different regulatory standards regarding electronics and mechanics globally. We believe you have experience in product development concerning EMC, safety and environmental issues and that you have experience in hardware development and design verification.
Furthermore you enjoy working as an internal consultant supporting different projects and engineers with your expertise in regulatory requirements. Apart from this your work will require many external contacts and your ability to cooperate with different teams and individuals will be crucial for our success. We therefore believe you are a person with an open minded attitude and strong communication skills in English.
OUR ELECTRONICS & MECHANICS TEAM
The team is responsible for the hardware development of new products as well as responsible for maintenance of existing products. The team collaborates with the firmware engineers, Operations and Product Management in order to create new world leading products.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis products are sold in more and more countries. This means there are more and more regulatory requirements to fulfil. Regulatory requirements are also introduced in more and more areas. We therefore need someone who can focus on these requirements and consult the development engineers in their projects.
Your challenge will be to keep up to date with regulatory requirements in different countries around the world regarding EMC, Safety and Environment. Your main tasks will be to:
• Act as contact person to external test houses
• Contribute with expertise regarding EMC in development projects
• Assist development engineers during testing internally and at test houses
• Be responsible for certification documentation
Your work will include some travelling.
