Responsibility
PSRA stands for Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs; our aim is to ensure compliance of our product portfolio with applicable national and international regulations. We are responsible for safety data sheets, labels, declaration of compliance and customer enquiries. Our focus is to provide product information in a timely manner and to meet customers demands.
We have an immediate opening for an individual who can fulfill the following role for the Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs department in Bohus
Main tasks include:
Support the Business unit Pulp and Performance Chemicals with internal, external and legal regulatory affairs requirements, REACH, food contact, product registrations, inventories, and answering customer enquiries.
• Provide regulatory advice to the business to ensure product compliance.
• Participate in evaluation of products in the development process and introduction of new products.
• Responsible for approving products and raw materials from a regulatory point of view.
• Create and update "Declaration of Compliance" for our products.
• Prepare and submit notifications and registrations for products and substances.
• Maintain and assess regulatory information in data bases such as EH&S, with special emphasis in Food Contact
• Keep track of new or updated legislations globally and take relevant action.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding product and raw material compliance.
• Represent Pulp and Performance Chemicals in CEFIC FCA meetings.
Job requirements / Candidate profile
The successful applicant will have a M.Sc. in chemistry or similar and 3-5 years of relevant experience. The position requires a deep knowledge of Chemical legislation, specifically food contact related
Experience of working with software's such as SAP EH&S is an advantage. Good communication skills in Swedish and English both written and verbal are required to be able to work in a global international environment. We expect the candidate to be structured and organized and be able to work both individually and in teams.
