Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The E-sector at Scania including embedded development is undergoing a large transformation right now becoming more flow-oriented with the goal to become faster and with better quality! This affects how about 1000 employees are working with development of Scania 's electrical and embedded systems.

One important factor for this to succeed is to have clear structures, processes and information management in place. The transformation within Embedded means that present way of working needs to be challenged and updated. Today we are also challenged by new laws and regulations, especially FuSa (Functional Safety), but also SUMS (Software Update Management system) and CSMS (Cyber Security Management System). The regulated process for Functional Safety needs to be integrated within the existing Embedded Management System. As the Management System and Process Architect you will have a key role making this to happen.
