Location: Hisings Kärra, Gothenburg (flexible hybrid solution)

Travel: Business travel required occasionally

Employment type: 6-month consulting assignment through Wise Professionals/Eqonomy, with a strong potential for permanent placement

About the position

As a Regional Controller at Kärcher, you will act as a business partner and provide key financial insights with the purpose of making overall improvements. You will work closely with the regional CFO and other internal stakeholders and the result of your work will identify areas for improvement, support decision-making by challenging business plans and strengthen the organization's performance. You will oversee, optimize and streamline financial processes for the Nordic countries, create and ensure high-quality reporting and communicate insights. A key part of your role will be to strengthen internal cooperation due to financial and business insights. You will also be involved in projects due to the exciting journey Kärcher carries out.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance and provide key insights through What-if analyses and business cases supporting the business.

• Act as a key financial business partner, collaborating across functions and regions, and supporting sales and service departments.

• Challenge and review budgets, forecasts, and business plans for cost and profit centers.

• Drive cost-saving initiatives while increasing transparency around profitability.

• Develop, create, and ensure high-quality financial reports while maintaining standardized reporting practices.

• Ensure compliance and accuracy through internal audits and standardized reporting.

• Utilize financial tools such as SAP and SAC Analyzer to support reporting and decision-making.

• Optimize and improve financial processes, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

About You

We are seeking You who thrives in an international, commercial environment. You possess strong analytical skills and together with great communication skills, you have the ability to simplify and effectively convey clear financial insights to various stakeholders. You value strong and healthy relationships with colleagues. You communicate great in English at a professional level and proficiency in Swedish is advantageous but not a requirement.

Given the company's recent digital transformation, experience with multiple financial systems and tools is highly valued.

Our candidate probably has a university degree in Finance or Economics and experience as a Business Controller, ideally from a commercial or product company or perhaps manufacturing industry.

The consultant role

As a consultant with Wise Professionals, you will receive a salary aligned with industry standards, along with healthcare, pension benefits, and coverage under our collective agreement.
