The Real Estate function in Hitachi Energy covers the full end-to-end lifecycle from site selection to site maintenance and management up to the termination of the site. We manage a total footprint of 2.3 million sqm and operate out of 26 countries with a team of 74 professionals to cover all our locations globally. The North Europe Region is responsible of a total footprint of approx. 430.000 sqm.

Your Responsibilities:
Develop strategic real estate plans for the medium term to enhance the Local Business Unit's facilities for both current and prescribed future needs.
Manage the financial performance of the real estate for the business to meet or exceed committed performance levels.
Establish and regularly update a detailed corporate real estate inventory of all Hitachi Energy owned, leased/rented sites, plots of land, offices, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, storage, parking, cafeteria, etc.
Supervise all major real estate investments in owned or leased facilities and ensure such investments are submitted for formal approval and in line with Company policy.
Benchmark, monitor and report on related real estate data and occupancy costs for all facilities.
Act as prime point of contact for local authorities for regulatory and compliance purposes
Zero harm - ensure that all activities led by Real Estate are undertaken with all necessary safety control measures to mitigate and eliminate hazards/risks.
Ensure (with HR Partner support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Your background
As a successful candidate you have several years of experience in related field
University degree preferably from related area, may be technical or finance
Experience with management of complex and diverse facilities
You contribute with your positive and proactive mindset, strong communication and people management skills
You are engaged and driven person, and a true team player
Proficiency in English is required since you will be part of an international setting
