At Hitachi Energy our purpose is advancing a sustainable energy future for all. We bring power to our homes, schools, hospitals and factories. HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
In 2050 the need of energy will increase by 50% and HVDC is a prerequisite to make this work in a greener, smarter and sustainable way.
Both the HVDC market and the aim of new HVDC quality solutions and products are growing. Therefore, we need to strengthen our team with more R&D Project Managers that also wants to contribute to our team, our products, our company and to the global society and environment.
We are 15 R&D Project Managers that execute HVDC R&D projects within System, C&P, Valve and Digitalization. A project can be a study, to develop a product from idea to production, improvements, or collaboration with customers, universities or global organizations.
To be able to perform all the upcoming R&D projects that we want, we are also looking for more R&D Project Managers within Valve and Digitalization. We are in a very exciting phase and are interested in knowing more about you and how you can contribute, so do not hesitate to apply even if you do not meet all the requirements.
I'm very proud of my team and what we are doing within R&D and the entire Hitachi Energy. I see the need of our systems and products, how we are accelerating the energy transition with renewable energy, creating a carbon-neutral energy system and how HVDC will be the backbone of our entire energy system. To work fulltime with something that's really matters and has a huge impact on our society and environment feels inspiring, meaningful and I'm very grateful to be a part of that.
Warm Welcome to apply
/Anna
