You will report to R&D Electromechanical Chapter Leader, you will become part of Load Control Agile Unit in Västerås. The unit is part of the ABB Electrification/Smart Power division, and its mission is to develop, maintain globally low voltage products, these include large contactors, soft starters, etc.
Targeting new and exciting sectors like renewable energy, Rail, etc.
You will join one of our multifunctional Agile Team and be fully accountable of the activity assigned to you, you will have the possibility to interact with the product owner and support in the definition of the global product strategy.
Your responsibilities
Together with the other designer you will work in develop new solution and maintain the actual product platform according to the Agile Team mission.
You will experience and contribute to different phase of the project, from the idea to production, interacting with local and global stakeholders.
You will be part of the Electromechanical Design chapter and contribute in the technical of all the team, sharing best practice and lessons learned.

Your background
Bachelors ' or Masters' Degree in Mechanic, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of CAD software (CREO is a plus).
1 / 2-year experience in similar design role is a plus.
Knowledge of different material technology (Metal, plastic, etc.).
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodology is a plus.
Fluent in Swedish and English written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
