But now we want to be even better! We're looking for a passionate Quality Engineer to HSS Pure & Engine Power, BU Marine Separation & Heat Transfer Equipment. So, what are you going to do today?
Who you are
About the jobHSS Pure and Engine Power is responsible for engineering and delivery customer projects for fuel & lube oil separator, oily waste treatment system, EGR water treatment system and crank case gas cleaning system systems to marine and gas and heavy fuel oil engine power industries.
In this position, you manage the overall quality responsibility for HSS Pure & Engine Power. This means:
Handle all claims related aspects for HSS Pure & Engine Power according to Alfa Laval claim process.
Take a leadership role to improve the quality of the products for higher customer satisfaction.
Improve claim handling with stakeholders such as sales companies, E&S and application managers.
Make statistics and analyse claims situation for selected products, applications and customers.
Develop and maintain the quality & environmental management system to secure fulfilment of demands according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Train, instruct and support claim handlers / coordinators and others functions in claims process and claims system
Perform internal audits as well as support and participate in external audits
What you knowYou preferably have a university degree with a technical background. Your background:
You have basic knowledge in the engineering area and in ISO standards ISO 9001, ISO14000
You are proactive to find the right solution and have an ability to take decisions within your area
Experience and interest in systematic quality work and improvements.
Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
Experience in Alfa Laval's claim system is valuable.
Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
