As a Configuration Manager you will belong to the Engineering and Operation service team whose main task is to support the QlikTech R&D team with e.g. supply methods, processes and tools needed by the R&D team to deliver secure and qualitative supplies of our QlikView products.
Your responsibilities:
The main mission is similar to an IT-unit with focus on the segment between traditional IT, development and tests which includes but is not limited to:
• Responsibility for the source system (TFS)
• Building process and release process
• System administration of virtual and physical equipment which represent the development and test platform
• Tool support in terms of software and occasional, basic education when needed
• Configuration Management
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Branching and Merging strategies as well as version management policies
• Processes and tools to support a parallel development
• Reports on our Configuration Items
• Responsibility for the security of the source code and other components
• Process optimization to ensure the delivery efficiency and capacity of the R&D unit
• Reusability principles like Single Source and Reusability
Your profile:
• A couple of years' experience of IT related work, primarily within Configuration Management, where experience of SCM is an advantage
• Used to work in close cooperation with project leaders, developers, testers and a building responsible person
• Used to deliver suggestions on how other companies are solving similar tasks
• Experience of working in an agile development unit adjusting the development process to be most efficient
• Knowledge about TFS, as well as about Qlikview is an advantage
• Eager to learn more and keep updated within your field as we always work to be in the frontline of technology
You like to work with problem solving and are analytical, structured and result oriented.
Your personal qualities are highly valued as you are a team player and will work in a small, focused, agile team as well as independently when required.
You are used to analyzing and gathering information and then putting it into action in an efficient way. As the company language is English, your verbal and written English skills are excellent, as well as your communicative skills. Furthermore you are open and service-minded.
