As a Configuration Manager you will belong to the ?Engineering Operations? service team whose main task is to support the QlikTech R&D team with e.g. supply methods, processes and tools needed by the R&D team to deliver secure and qualitative supplies of our QlikView products.
Your responsibilities are:
Implementing CM work within projects and within R&D
Create and maintain a CM plan
Baseline identification
Model and build the CMDB / Artifact repository
Ensure changes is tracked
Improve and develop branching and merging strategies
To contribute to automation of the deployment pipeline
Plan and execute training for R&D employees
Reporting of baseline status, CMDB status, branch and merge results, training needs

Your Profile
You should have a couple of years? experience of IT related work, primarily within Configuration Management, where experience of SCM is an advantage. You will work in close cooperation with project leaders, developers, testers and the build master. The tools and technology used is mainly the Microsoft Platform, especially Visual Studio, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Team Foundation Build 2010 and of course QlikView.
Besides that you should also be open and eager to learn more and keep updated within your field as we always work to be in the frontline of technology. You like to work with problem solving, you are analytical, structured and result oriented.
Your personal qualities are highly valued as you are a team player and will work in a small, focused, agile team as well as independently when required. You analyze and gather information from colleagues and then put it into action in an efficient way.
You have excellent verbal and written English skills as the company language is English. Our processes and programs are all in English. Last but not least we are a service organization and therefore highly value service mindedness and strong communicative skills.
