Volvo CE is one of the world's largest manufacturers of Construction Equipment. In Sweden we have four production sites, Arvika where we produce Wheel Loaders, Braås where we produce Articulated Haulers, Hallsberg where Cabs and Tanks are produced, and Eskilstuna where Components (Axles and Transmissions) are made. The Purchasing organization in Sweden handles all the production material for the Swedish plants.
The Role and the Team
The Business Control role supports the P&SM function in reaching its defined set of objectives with the company's holistic view in mind. You will be a true business partner to the P&SM organization and continuously improve both your own work and the processes you work within. You will be located within the Operations Eskilstuna Finance department and work closely together with both P&SM and Operations for all Swedish production sites. The group consists of one Finance Manager and three Operations Controllers.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
You will be responsible to support the P&SM function at local, regional/Commodity or global level by analyzing financial performance, actively participating in business decisions and strategy development.*Secure the content, delivery precision accuracy of the financial reporting for actual, forecast and Business plan
• Perform analysis of actual financial results to understand financial performance and identify risks or opportunities
• Provide direct material analysis and forecast in product cost follow up
• Drive, develop and coordinate the Vendor tooling investment process
• Review and contribute to business cases and P&SM initiatives
• Ensure that financial policies and procedures and P&SM Finance guidelines are communicated
• Provide financial training
• Establish good internal financial control routines

To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:*University degree in business administration
• Strong knowledge in finance, financial analysis and accounting
• Several years of experience from finance and business control
• Good knowledge in MS Office, in particular MS Excel
• Fluent in English

We also value general IT system knowledge, SAP and financial database experience.
