On behalf of a client in Göteborg Adecco are looking for a Purchasing Manager who is fluent in English and German.
The role will involve:
Coordination of program purchasing activities in cooperation with the commodity purchasing groups. Support of all program purchasing activities within the Customer Purchasing organization. Provide financial expertise for purchasing decisions and work with standardization of purchasing processes / procedures.
Major Responsibilities
• Control and approval of all program purchasing activities and decisions in line with customer demands and commodity strategies.
• Provide financial expertise/support in terms of tooling and investment budgets, customer conditions, cost tracking, etc. in order to meet program and purchasing goals.
• Guarantee financial control over the programs from phase 0-5 and over lifetime
• Coordinate the supply chain requirements e.g. when/how to source, early sourcing, cross program supplier selection etc.
• Support of proper make or buy decisions.
• Guarantee compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
• Improvement of program-profitability as well as of all purchasing activities for the purposes of continuous improvement through global sourcing, long/life-time reductions etc.
Requirements
• Commercial or technical degree or appropriate job experience
• Some years within the industry, automotive or commodity related, purchasing experience, operational and strategic involvement
• In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices
• PC knowledge (MS-Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Controlling and cost analysis knowledge
• Knowledge of SAP procurement systems
• Fluent in English and German
