On behalf of a client in Göteborg Adecco are looking for a Purchasing Manager. We are looking for a person who can begin immediately, the assignment is approximately six months.
Role description
• Responsible for Purchasing within defined Product Areas (PA).
• Ensure that the Purchasing strategy and goals are followed in the PA.
• Ensure that the products are always purchased at competitive conditions, based on given product specifications, at high and stable service level.
• Drive Continuous improvement within PA.
Area of responsibility
• Develop and implement supplier strategy, source plans and agreements
• Negotiations in PA
• Calculating quantities and placing orders according to needs in ERP system
• Invoice deviations
• Follow up and report KPI's
• Secure that price changes are informed into company according to established routine.
• Represent the company in sector associations etc. regarding product and purchase issues.
• Secure Quality according to company requirements
• New Products, initial ordering and follow up
And Customer responsbility - internally and externally - for Sales, Brand development, Quality, Production, Warehouse function, Suppliers and Sector associations.
Experience
• Some years appropriate job experience
• University diploma or equal
• Fluent in English
