Help shape strategic decisions with accurate market intelligence! As a Pulp Market Intelligence Manager at Essity, you'll bridge the gap in how we leverage market insights, collaborating with analysts, forecasting prices, and understanding competitor trends. What you will do:
Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze global pulp markets and other related Fiber Markets, focusing on supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, production, and consumption patterns.
Trend Identification: Track key market drivers such as raw material prices, global trade dynamics, regulatory changes, and consumer preferences to forecast trends and business opportunities.
Competitive Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis, identify emerging competitors, and provide insights into their strategies, pricing, and market positioning, working closely with Essity's competitive Intelligence Team
Forecasting & Reporting: Develop and deliver regular reports on market forecasts, price trends, and strategic insights to support key decision-makers in sales, marketing, and operations.
Supply Chain Insights: Collaborate with supply chain teams to provide insights into pulp sourcing, logistics, and inventory management.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with suppliers, customers, and industry experts to gather market intelligence and share insights.
Data Interpretation: Analyze complex market data and translate it into actionable recommendations to inform strategic planning.
Market Projects: Lead and support ad-hoc market projects, delivering comprehensive and actionable results on time and within budget.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Proven expertise in market analysis, forecasting, and data interpretation within the pulp, paper, or commodities sector.
Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present market data clearly and work cross-functionally to align strategies with business objectives.
Fluent in English
