A day in your life with us
You will be the direct leader of three managers within our Public Advocacy, EU and Public Affairs and indirect for the team of 21 colleagues in the Public Affairs & Advocacy team. You will be the Global lead and local point for the Public Affairs & Advocacy & EU Affairs team and accountable for the direction development of the PA network in retail countries.
As a part of the Communication Management Team within Ingka, you will feed back learnings into the key decision-making bodies such as our Management Board and Group Management of Ingka.
In this role, you will ensure that we have a high level of support and steering of Ingka Retail markets, senior managers, and other group functions. On the Public Affairs & Advocacy agenda, you will develop capabilities including the contribution to the development of Country Managers.
To be specific this means you will:
Be accountable for all communication within and from the global Public Affairs & Advocacy team.
Develop and deliver the global Public Affairs & Advocacy agenda, both in Group level and in all retail countries.
Secure effective alignment of Public Affairs & Advocacy objectives and plans with business goals.
Monitor geopolitics and relevant regulatory and non-regulatory developments globally.
Engage Group Management and our Management Board by advocating strategically relevant positive societal impact topics across all IKEA Retail countries.
Participate in the Global Crisis Management Team by providing input from a Public Affairs and geopolitical perspective.

This role is based in Malmö and you will report to the Global Communication Manager of Ingka.
