Volvo Group Real Estate
The Volvo Group's real estate portfolio consists of Industrial and Technology properties, Warehouses, Dealers and Offices, both owned and leased, in more than 50 countries.
Volvo Group Real Estate (RE) is the Group Function with operational responsibility for the Volvo Group's real estate. The total building area that RE manages today is about 8 M Sqm, whereof about 6 M sqm is owned. We optimize the use and value of the Volvo Group's facilities and act as a center of expertise, thus providing a concentration of resources and competences - creating economies of skills and scale.
RE is organized in 5 operational divisions and one global function, Real Estate Center of Expertise (RE CoE).
The RE head quarter is located in Gothenburg.
Real Estate Center of Expertise
The purpose of RE CoE is to provide real estate subject matter expertize and to develop sustainable, satisfying and innovate real estate solutions for the Volvo Group.
The four teams in the function host the responsibility for:
• Property Portfolio Planning and Space
• Facility Solutions
• Building Technology and Projects
• Process, IT and Quality
In addition, direct reports to VP RE CoE are expert positions for Volvo Group Future Workplace, divestments and communication.
Property Portfolio Planning and Space
The Property Portfolio Planning and Space team is responsible for driving the property planning and space optimization, both on a Volvo Group level and on a site level, to meet the property users' demand and to drive space efficiency across Volvo Group's office areas. The mission is also to ensure that related effective and efficient processes are implemented and adhered to in order to meet the business strategies.
The team is also responsible for governance of the property register and for the strategic receiver dialogue.
Property Planning Manager
The mission of the Property Planning Manager is to secure efficient and effective property planning within the Volvo Group.
The position is a member of the RE Property Portfolio Planning and Space Team, and reports to the Director Property Portfolio Planning and Space, RE CoE, who is located in Gothenburg, Sweden, however being a global function we encourage applicants from outside of Sweden.
Core Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the Property Committee meetings with the Volvo Group's receiving organizations (Truck Divisions, Business Areas and Group Functions). The purpose of the Property Committee is to secure quality, timing and efficiency in terms of property- and service delivery from RE on a global level
• Subject Matter Expert Property Planning with the responsibility to develop the property planning solutions in a collaborative, structured and efficient way strongly integrated with our stakeholders and your colleagues
• Drive the Property Strategy Planning and coordinate the Site Property Master Planning
• Develop and monitor relevant KPI:s for the area of responsibility

Who are you?
We are looking for a person with good knowledge of the Real Estate domain in a broader context and who has a consultative mindset. You work pro-actively and take ownership of your area of responsibility as well as being a team-player in both vertical and horizontal dimensions. You are used to interact with senior- and executive management. Since we are a global company, you should have experience from working on the international business arena within a global company or network.
You also have an ability to demonstrate a clear vision and show excellent communication skills. Your communication style gives you respect within the organization, adapting your communication style to all levels in the organization comes natural to you. A success factor is being able to build relations and trust, to meet different demands and to drive changes outside of your own area of responsibility.
What experiences and skills would we like you to have?
We believe that the successful candidate have completed a Master degree in a subject related to
finance, legal or real estate/facility management with a minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
You are fluent in business English and additional languages are an advantage.
You are used to work in global organizations, driving change through global networks and enjoy building business relationships. You are well structured and have an analytical approach and a strategic perspective in your daily work. You are also business- and customer oriented and financial skills are part of your background. We are having fun at work, and since you are a good team player you bring value also in this perspective.
