As Project SQE you will act as a key interface between several internal functions and external suppliers in order to ensure fulfilment of corporate quality goals. The Project SQE role is a new role in the global Supplier Quality Assurance organisation.
Working as a Project SQE involves tight cooperation between the own organisation and it's different functions, e.g. Sourcing, R&D, Operations, Quality etc. and external suppliers. The responsibilities can be summarised in five major areas:
1. Responsible for product and process assurance in new projects (new supplier and/or new product)
2. Act as key interface between Sourcing, R&D, Operations, Quality, and supplier during new product development projects
3. Work directly with suppliers using the supplier Advanced Product Quality Planning process to ensure product and process quality assurance in new projects
4. Play an active role in the supplier selection process
5. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations
As a natural part of everyday work you will work according to the Haldex Way continuous improvement framework, having Operational Excellence and zero-defects in mind. Based in Landskrona, Sweden, you will be reporting to the Global Project SQE Manager and the role requires travelling.
To become a successful Project SQE we believe you have solid practical experience of at least 7-10 years in the field of Supplier Quality Assurance or Quality Assurance, preferably within an environment guided by quality and management systems like IAFT/TS16949 and ISO 14001. In addition to that you most probably have a university degree in Engineering, or other relevant trainings. You have a good technical understanding together with excellent oral and written communication skills, mastering English at an advanced level. You possess an extensive toolbox that makes you familiar with and able to utilize tools and concepts like: APQP, PPAP,FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 8D-report and Six Sigma. If you are a certified 2nd party auditor for VDA6.3 it is considered a strong merit.
