What you will be a part of
Saab Kockums provides design, construction and in-service support for advanced naval systems such as surface combatants and submarines to the Swedish Armed Forces and other customers worldwide. Our product portfolio consist of the air-independent Stirling system, mine countermeasure systems and submarine rescue systems amongst other. Saab Kockums operate in Karlskrona, Malmö, Muskö, Järfälla and Singapore.
Projects and Planning (P&P) is the centre for the project and planning work within Saab Kockums. We are extending our team and are looking to hire an experienced Project Planner and are also hoping for a great colleague with high energy.

P&P are the hub for the Master and Scenario planning within Saab Kockums and we are also responsible for the development and optimization of the planning methodology to achieve visual steering of deliverables and resources in the projects. You will be part of a team of 18, and report to the Head of Master Project & Planning. The position is placed at our centrally located office in beautiful Karlskrona.
Your role
As a planner at Saab Kockums you work with planning in a dynamic organisation. You are the Project Mangers right hand and you work closely with the project to establish and maintain the project plans on different levels, from main- to detail plan. Our projects vary in complexity and comprise both new development and maintenance projects.
Your main responsibilities are to visualize an overall project plan built up based on standardized way of working and regularly develop and maintain the project plan in collaboration with the project manager. This includes working together with our development department and our production to follow-up project activities, milestones, resource needs and project status. You will also support project- and subproject managers with analysis, corrective action plans, planning simulation and new project scenarios.
Business trips are frequently occurring, mostly between our sites in Karlskrona and Malmö.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who have proven successful experience of project planning and are used to handle big project plans. To be able to handle these complex plans, you need a structured way and ability to visualize and explain the plan to the project participants. As a representative for P&P, you need to interact well with stakeholders why you need to have high communication and people skills.
Other requirements for the positions is:
Knowledge in advanced planning tools like Primavera, ERM, MS project or similar as well as handling complex computer tools.
University degree or similar education level within technology, engineering and/or logistics and project management.
Proficiency in the Swedish and English language.
Driving license.
Meritorious:
Experience within project management and/or logistics planning, preferably from international and larger global companies.
Experience from engineering industry or production preparation.
