We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager Quality Journals for our customer within the automotive industry in Gothenburg.
Job description:
The department Product Quality and Technical Service Europe & Latin America belong to the head quarter in Gothenburg. The department has the overall responsibility for all short term quality improvements in its regions as well as responsibility for ta variety of platforms.
Mission:
Lead the cross-functional QJ-team in order to introduce solutions for Quality in the field issues with the shortest possible lead-time according to the QJ-process. The PMQJ is responsible for the QJ-issue from the Kick-Off meeting until the QJ-issue is Market Ready
Core Responsibilities:
• Lead a cross-functional team from the project Kick-off until the Market Ready gate (corrective actions introduction in manufacturing and/or aftermarket) and secure moving from one step to another.
• Achieve QJ KPI targets: Total lead-time (from NEW to MR), containment action implementation and effectiveness.
• Follow the QJ-process instructions and defined governance structure.
• Schedule the projects activities and gates.
• Document the QJ progress in Argus QJ system and in other necessary locations to secure QJ decisions and communication.
• Secure that the QJ-team delivers according to all relevant cross functional processes.
Qualifications:
• Experienced in project Management.
• Good overall product technical knowledge in the automotive fields.
• Strong cross functional leadership.
• Good analytical skills, well structured.
• Ability to work globally.
• Experienced on Quality tools, mainly on Root Causes Analysis,
FMEA, Argus, Protus and QJ's.
• Driver to improve our products, organization, processes and himself/herself.
• Communication skills: listening effectively, transmitting information accurately and understanding and actively seeking feedback.
• Professionalism: Dealing directly and forthright with people and problems, persisting to get the job done and managing personal responses and stress.
• Teamwork: Building co-operation among individuals, departments, sharing information and resources and working to achieve group goals and results.
• Business and Customer oriented mind-set. Understanding customer needs and addressing the needs to all organization stakeholders.
• Master degree or equivalent experiences.
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• More than 3 years as Project Manager (Leader) in the quality arena within the Automotive industry.
