As a project manager, you will become an important part of our project management organisation, with ten skilled colleagues who work as Project Managers and Design Engineers. Your main focus will be to drive and manage customer projects from approved order to testing and commissioning - until the robot cell is properly installed. It will also be your responsibility to identify technical risks in each customer specific projects and plan for the necessary resources.

Since you work in close partnership with other colleagues and customers, you will get the opportunity to widen your internal and global network. In other words, you will have great opportunities to build your platform for a future career within ABB.

To succeed, you need to have a great interest and understanding for technology. Moreover, you need to be driven, thorough and proactive. You are also analytical and structured, and you are a good administrator with strong focus on details. You thrive in a role where you get to cooperate with others and play an important role in a successful team.

You have a university degree, preferably within Electrification, Mechanical Engineering or Automation. Alternativly, you have equivalent work experience, and a secondary school degree with focus on technology. Supplementary courses within automation, project management or technical sales are a plus. Today, you probably work as a Maintenance or Machine Specialist within manufacturing/cutting, or with project management within industrial/technical sales. If you also have experience of robot engineering or design constructions, it is an advantage. Since you will be part of a global organisation, you need to speak and write in Swedish and English. If you are at a basic level in any other European language it is a plus.

You will be part of ABB Robotics application center. We are responsible for R&D and business development in close collaboration with the global ABB
organization. Robotics develops, manufactures and markets robots and associated control systems, software, arc welding products, tracks and motor
packages. Our bases are in Västerås, Jönköping and the Gothenburg area in Sweden.
