About the Assignment
We are looking for a Senior Embedded C++ Developer to join an exciting robotics development initiative focused on building and improving next-generation autonomous robotic products.
You will work on software that controls robot behavior, decision-making, navigation, and planning — ranging from low-level embedded functionality to advanced algorithms supporting autonomous operation.
The role involves working primarily with C/C++ and Python in a Linux-based environment, collaborating closely with engineers across software, hardware, sensors, and robotics.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced embedded developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to see their software operate in real-world robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve embedded software for advanced robotic products.
Work on robot behavior, decision-making, navigation, and planning functionality.
Develop software ranging from low-level system features to higher-level autonomous capabilities.
Design, implement, test, and verify new technical solutions.
Work with C/C++ and Python in a Linux-based development environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams involving software, hardware, sensors, and robotics.
Contribute to the development of future robotic platforms.
Participate in hands-on testing and troubleshooting of robotic systems.
Potentially take a technical leadership role within cross-functional development teams.
Continuously improve development processes, software quality, and engineering practices.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, curiosity, and a genuine passion for embedded software and robotics.
You should be:
Experienced in embedded software development.
Highly proficient in C/C++.
Comfortable working with Python.
Experienced with Linux-based development environments.
Comfortable working across software and hardware boundaries.
Analytical and confident in solving complex technical problems.
Collaborative, communicative, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
Interested in exploring how AI and modern development tools can improve engineering efficiency and quality.
Willing to work hands-on with hardware and perform testing in real-world environments.
Required Skills
✅ Strong experience in embedded software development

✅ Linux development experience

Experience with any of the following will be considered a strong advantage:
Real-time systems
RTOS

Swedish language skills are not mandatory, but Swedish proficiency is considered an advantage.
