HVDC is one of the world?s primary supplier of DC Transmission Systems. As Project Logistic Planner, you will be responsible for logistic planning on a global level and follow delivery projects from start to finish. Among other tasks, you will produce custom invoices, book product and material pickup, coordinate joint transportation and ensure delivery to ABB?s sites around the world. That includes more than 10,000 packages per project from around 80 suppliers. Transportation claims and managing letters of credit will also be among your assignments. As Project Logistic Planner, you will be part of a broad network, which includes customers, HVDC?s Project Managers, purchasers and external suppliers. You will also handle after sales business as projects and single consignments. You will also be part in our operation excellence work which involve the process from purchase to site delivery. As part of HVDC you will have opportunities to develop and broaden your skills within different areas, e.g purchase, strategic purchasing, project work.
Requirements
To apply, you need solid understanding of the logistic flow coupled with computer proficiency. As you will act on an international market, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken alike. It is qualifying if you have a few years experience in logistic planning, preferably from freight forwarding companies or export industries. Knowledge in letter of credit is also qualifying. Your experience from logistics has made you an expert in regards to rules and regulations for import and export. You may also have gathered similar knowledge from academic studies. As a person you are structured, thorough, accountable and versatile. Another important quality required in this outgoing role is your ability to collaborate well with colleagues, customers and external partners.
