Electric Vehicles are transforming the automotive industry, creating many new business opportunities. To drive this change, the business development team needs to expand with strong talents.

In this role, you get to work with some of the most important and strategic projects and customers for the company. The right candidate will enjoy working with customer and internal stakeholders on all levels. You will create new services for car owners and develop business models that are mutually beneficial for MEKO and the customer. You are curious and eager to learn, and you want to work with colleagues who push you and support you in your own growth journey.

The Strategy and Business Development function is responsible for looking several years ahead and ensuring that the company stays on the right course. The team has a strong track record in implementing new concepts and generating new revenue for the company. We work actively with mentoring and feedback. The team consists of a mix of talents, but we unite in our bold visions, our passion for data-driven decisions and making a significant impact in the industry. MEKO (formerly Mekonomen Group) consists of the leading automotive spare parts chains in Northern Europe, with its own wholesale operations, over 600 branches and 4,100 workshops operating under the Group's brands. We offer a wide and accessible range of affordable and innovative solutions and products for workshops and car owners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage projects with support from the rest of team.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in engineering or business, or equivalent.
- Independently motivated, with a curious and learning mindset.
- Comfortable working in MS Excel and Power Point.
- Team player who is willing to collaborate and both give and receive constructive feedback.
- You must communicate well in a local language (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) and in English.
- Willingness to travel when necessary (typically 1-2 day trips per month)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Experience leading customer-facing projects.
- Strong analytical skills in a business context.
