hela Sverige HVDC Service Engineering department deals directly with the customers of our already commissioned HVDC Stations to provide support and problem solving for all issues related to the HVDC Control & Protection systems and Operational Technology (IT Infrastructure), as well as delivering upgrades of the C&P and SCM systems.
We are looking for an engineering manager to lead our skilled team of SCM (stations control and monitoring) engineers into the next phase of our development as a department. Our goal is to manage our teams effectively by creating the best possible conditions for our engineers to succeed.
You will lead, inspire, and guide our SCM engineers working with upgrade projects of existing HVDC stations, as well as smaller projects and warranty cases - creating a working environment internally in the department and externally which promotes collaboration, high quality deliveries and innovation.
Your responsibilities
Manage, motivate, and mentor your team members within HVDC Service Care & Warranty, SCM.
Support your team's performance to ensure the deliverables are met on time, safely, as per the set contract, and to the correct quality.
Together with your colleagues, drive improvements, both within Service engineering and cross functionally to meet strategy and future business needs.
Closely collaborate with your colleagues within HVDC Service to support project teams.

Your background
Relevant degree in engineering, e.g., in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent.
Experience in leadership roles, e.g., line management, project management or lead engineer.
Background working with control system design, SCADA design or IT/OT solutions within the electrical transmission industry.
You like to work in a dynamic international and multicultural environment.
As a person you are independent, solution-oriented, organized, and responsive with a strong drive and focus on delivering in time and with quality.
You are confident, both on a personal level and in your leadership. You facilitate teamwork and communicate clearly at all levels.
Excellent communication skills in English. Swedish communication skills are desirable.
