Would you like to join our central Component Management team, creating our future way of working with component life cycle management?
Development & Service Operations has the end-to-end responsibility for development, supplier management, production, installation and provide services that ensure we deliver the cost, productivity and quality our customers expect. Within Development & Services Operations, Capital Equipment leads and manages the sourcing, production, installation and commissioning of Tetra Pak packaging lines.
Within the Components Supplier Management organisation, we are now looking for a Project Coordinator Obsolete Components to strengthen our team in Lund.
In this role, you will work in close cooperation with our engineering stakeholders, our business stakeholders, and our suppliers. You will lead and drive obsolescence cases to find replacement solutions for obsolete commercial components. You will drive each case as a separate project with a dedicated cross-organisational team for each case.
In this position, you will work in a sub team of 4 persons. You will be travelling approximately 10% yearly.
Main responsibilities
• Lead obsolescence cases handling and resolution
• Lead business case creation for the replacement solutions
• Lead cross-organisational discussions to reach consensus on replacement solutions
• Present resolution recommendations in senior management decision forums
• Drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
We are looking for a result oriented and driven person with a passion for engineering. To be successful in this role, it is important that you are analytical and have a methodical approach to your work. Your strong communication skills combined with your interpersonal capabilities enable you to build networks and easily interact across borders both internally and externally.
We believe you have an engineering background within the automation or electrical design areas, project management skills and a proven track record in stakeholder management.
The successful candidate has a bachelor degree within engineering, preferably in electrical design/automation, in combination with at least 5 years' experience from engineering and/or project management. You have a good command in English, both written and verbal.
