Volvo Autonomous Solutions is a Business Area within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer autonomous transport solutions. There's already about 250 of us and together we form a strong team ready to tackle the big challenges we have ahead of us, and we are now looking for a Project Coordinator to join the team.
About the position:
In this role you will work closely together with our Project Managers in Technology, where your main responsibility will be to facilitate several tasks which makes ours project to a success.
In the early phases of projects, this means that you will be supporting with structuring and setting up the project in our tool. You will also be a key player in preparation and executing our project management meeting and issue/bug meetings. More than this, you will work with the time plans and other project management tasks related to our projects.
As our area is new, we are still defining our way of working which means that you have a big opportunity to impact the role and how we will work in the future.
So, who are you, our new colleague?
The profile we are looking has several years of experience from project coordination roles, preferably from different operational models. You probably have experience as Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, Agile Coach or a more traditional project coordination role from before, with good understanding for what it takes to deliver a project and what aspects that are key for the project's success.
As this position is all about collaboration, we also value you to have social skills and that you enjoy and believe in teamwork. For us this means that you are a good listener, communicative and that it's easy for you to connect with other people. As our technology area is new and we are breaking new ground with the work we do, we also believe its important that you are not afraid of the unknown and have a curious and 'can do' attitude.
Other key competencies for the position:
Solid background working in projects close to Project Managers
Several years of experience from project management support activities
Experience from embedded system development
Fluency in English
Good knowledge of our key tools such as: JIRA, Confluence and preferably also JAMA
