This is an opportunity to join The Cab & Vehicle and Internal Logistics Equipment Investment team in Europe. We are a team spread over five sites in two countries, proud to cover four nationalities and a number of language skills. Now we are eager to welcome a newcomer to our team. What will you work with as Project Buyer within our team?
You will be responsible for handling sourcing of CAPEX investments (production equipment) to the Volvo owned plants and the base of responsibility will be to work towards the Volvo Trucks plants in Sweden. Within the Investment team, we work with the mindset that the right buyer should work with the right project, meaning that depending on person, level of experience and skills, the projects will vary.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Drive purchasing activities for Capex Investment projects
Lead supplier negotiations
Build and maintain strong business relationships with our suppliers
Build and maintain strong relationship with internal stakeholders
Build strategic business plans for specific segment(s)
