DOCH, University of Dance and Circus, is the Swedish artistic university for dance and circus. Scope and possibilities are provided for those who wish to get an education in dance, dance pedagogy or choreography - all in a dynamic and creative environment in close cooperation between art and research. In 2011, we educate about 200 students from 18 countries. DOCH has about 80 employees and about 100 teachers employed on an hourly basis.

Professor of dance pedagogy within the field of teaching & learning
The Department of Dance Pedagogy advertises a time-limited position as professor of dance pedagogy within the field of teaching & learning. The Department of Dance Pedagogy is chaired by a head of department together with a management group. The department runs a programme in dance pedagogy that leads to a BA and a teachers' programme in dance as well as self-contained courses. Moreover, a"joint-degree" is being developed at the master's level which is a combination of art and pedagogy; "Nordic Master Programme in Dance Education as Artistic Practice and Research". The programme is carried out together with universities in Denmark and Finland. DOCH is cooperating with Stockholm University in dance pedagogy at the graduate level.
