hela Sverige Candela's ultimate purpose is to speed up the transition to fossil fuel-free lakes and oceans. We strive to re-think efficiency in marine transportation to radically push the performance boundaries of electric boats and ships.
By combining sensors, computers and advanced submerged hydrofoils, our electric craft fly above the water, reaching speeds and range previously attained only by fossil fuel powerboats.
After launching Candela C-7, Europe's currently best-selling electric boat, we launched Candela C-8 in August 2021, the first electric boat intended for high volume production. We are also venturing into public transport with the revolutionary foiling P-30 ferry, built for the city of Stockholm.
We are now looking for a Production Quality Specialist to support Candela's growth ambitions.
Core responsibilities:
• Update all quality records according to the control plan (first-part release)
• Ensure compliance with the control plan, including requalification
• Be responsible for the blocked parts within the assigned production area (blocked storage)
• Carry out regular audits, for all shifts, to ensure compliance with standardized procedures and product audits
• Support the production team leaders in the implementation of quality basics (training, implementation, tracking, warning of deviations) as well as the training of customer-specific requirements
To be successful in the role:
• Startup-/ greenfield production experience
• Experience from MSA (measurement system analysis)
• BsC in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience from protecting the final customer by ensuring the quality norms are
met and drive continuous improvements within this area
• Experience from working with Quality Database
• A continuous improvement mindset
• QPS (quick problem solving)
• Preferably experience from working with chemicals

This is a full-time position at our production facility and office in Gåshaga, Lidingö. The production facility will move to Rotebro during the fall 2022. Working language is English, if you also know Swedish it will be a benefit for yourself, but it is not a prerequisite for the role.
