An exciting opportunity has arisen at Total Marketing Support (TMS) for a Production Manager to join a newly established Team in Stockholm, reporting into the Account Manager, following the successful acquisition of a major new contract with a Global brand within the FMCG arena.
The Production Manager will be fully accountable for the operational management of campaigns, projects and jobs in the execution of the deliverables of Display contracts. The successful candidate will ensure that operational support to the Customer is managed exceptionally and delivered efficiently, whilst providing effective support to the dedicated Team.
This role will play an active and important part in the development, retention and compliance of the contract that you are assigned to, offering a wide range of services and solutions to the Customer at all times.
The Production Manager will have accountability for the service and commercial delivery of campaigns, projects and jobs under their management. Engagement with TMS's support functions to ensure suitable and adequate resources are assigned to meet the needs of the campaign etc. is key.
The role of Production Manager will also be to provide a high degree of technical support and expertise, to both Customers and Associates, drawing upon your knowledge of the Display category, in order to achieve this.
What else will the role involve?
This role will be responsible for assigning work to approved Suppliers, compliance, development and operational management, whilst also providing a high degree of technical support and expertise, to both Customers and Associates, drawing on knowledge of the Display category, in order to achieve this.
Further responsibilities will include:
Supporting the implementation of new service lines into the assigned account, alongside the Implementation Team and Client Services Director.
Day-to-day nurturing and development of working relationships with the Customer.
Ensuring a positive and prompt response to Customer requirements, whilst instilling in others a passion to exceed Customer expectations.
Identification of areas of Business/Resource Risk and working to ensure balance and risk mitigation.
Identification of new innovative opportunities within the contract you are assigned and present compelling proposals to the Customer to enhance the current offering.
Assisting in all areas of the management of the Display items' creation, including procurement, production and management of campaigns.
What we would like our candidate to have.
Essential:
Technical Display skills, with both permanent and/or semi-permanent displays.
Client-facing experience within a Display manufacturing environment.
The ability to manage and effectively prioritise a busy, dynamic and demanding work load and schedule.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with Customers at all levels of the Business.
Commercially astute, with strong negotiation skills.
Knowledge and experience of working on a Commercial Software Application (Print Procurement and/or Print Estimating Systems).
Current, Valid Driving Licence.
Desirable:
Experience of working in a FMCG environment.
Experience of working in a Retail Display/Manufacturing environment.
Experience with, and an understanding of, cross-border import regulations and policies.
