Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer who will work in Processing Solutions & Equipment Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration organization.
PSE organization is accountable for assembly, test and packing of both packaging and processing equipment, according to Order Fulfilment Capital Equipment process. Production Engineer role is key to ensure on-time/in full of fully outsourced equipment delivery, through a robust quality and problem-solving mindset and a strong collaboration attitude with external suppliers and colleagues from other internal departments (Supplier Management, Demand & Supply, Development & Technology).
You will be based in Lund, Sweden or Modena, Italy. This is a permanent position that requires at least 30% of travelling. You will report to the Contract Manufacturing Production Leader.
What you will do
As Production Engineer, you will:
Support Suppliers securing Functional Performances of equipment according to official specifications.
Secure that complex technical problems at suppliers are solved in both Mechanical and Automation area.
Make sure suppliers are delivering equipment on time and with high quality to customers.
Create proper documentation check list, Machine Specification, Final Inspection Report to secure quality standard of the equipment produced.
Be an active part of joint activities with colleagues in other departments, with the aim of contributing to Vertical Startup of equipment reaching customer sites.
Contribute to the Engineering Change Management process securing new introductions are implemented at suppliers.
Add value to our customers supporting customization of equipment, taking part in Final Test Participation with customers and focusing on breaking through and continuous improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement of equipment testing methods, according to World Class Manufacturing methodology.
Perform on the job coaching and training to colleagues and supplier staff.

We believe you have
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical position, preferably from any kind of packaging or processing system
Automation, Mechanical or Mechatronic background
Downstream Equipment knowledge
Supply Chain knowledge
Customer/Suppliers relationship management skills
Hands-on and practical approach
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
WCM Methodology knowledge
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
