In the testing department, we are performing testing of corrosion resistance and mechanical properties as well as metallographic examination on Degerfors Operation's products.
As a Production engineer you will work alongside our Testing engineer and will assist your manager in planning and distributing work, leading preventative maintenance and coordinating production. Together with your manager you will make sure that your team is a success!
Your role:
Responsibility of maintenance, purchase of supplies and management of non-conformities
Work continuously on work-environment, health & safety
Lead and participate in the implementation of continuous improvement strategies within given process group
You will collaborate with our supply chain management team, technique & quality department, operations, and safety team
Participate and in some cases run investment projects.
About you:
You have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering (e.g., materials, testing or quality) or equivalent experience
Previous experience of working in maintenance
Good computer skills, experienced user of administration systems
You are fully fluent in Swedish and English
You are a flexible person who always puts safety first
Customer focus
