Do you have experience working in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment and having a high level in communication skills? Then this role as a Product Support Area Manager at Kalmar could be the next step in your career!
In this role you will be area responsible in the After Sales Technical Support and warranty handling to Kalmar and Kalmar representatives.
The location of this position is Ljungby, Sweden and you will report to Tommy Karlsson, Head Product Support.
Main tasks and responsibilities
In this role you will provide technical support and product knowledge to Kalmar and Kalmar representatives worldwide as well as warranty handling within the assigned market area. You will be collecting and providing the product quality feedback to concerned functions and projects within Counterbalance products.
Other tasks:
Act as a part of the "Task Force" in the investigation of incidents and participate in further collaboration when needed.
Product Lifetime Care Process, participate in meeting forums and take part in the information and actions that are deemed necessary.
Participate in NPD project for assigned machine model.
Create service bulletins and technical instructions.

What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Electrical college education or background in machine electrics is valued.
Product knowledge and experience in service support globally.
Product knowledge and experience from similar assignments are qualifying.
Domestic as international travelling is part of the role.

As a person you are service oriented, able to establish internal and external networks. You are also fluent in English both in speaking and writing. Knowledge in other languages is qualifying. You possess the ability to do independent work as well as teamwork and focus on customer needs. You are good at multitasking, business oriented, with diplomatic skills and a positive attitude. You are also a thorough analytical ability and well-structured problem solver.
