YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have a technical degree and extensive experience in network management and software administration. You are used to a role in close contact with customers and you have experience from working in development projects, something you find very stimulating.
Experience and knowledge from Windows networks such as Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows Server 2003/2008 is essential, as is knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP. Apart from this we believe you are a person with a problem solving ability and a service minded and open attitude towards colleagues and customers. You are easy to collaborate with and have excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written. Knowledge in Swedish is a plus.
Knowledge in video management software or similar software and programming experience (Visual Basic, .NET, Visual C++) is highly valued.
THE SYSTEM & SERVICES UNIT
System and Services is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for complementary system components and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You and your group (you, a product manager and another product specialist) will drive the software sales in Axis and keep our offering appreciated as the high class product it is. You will test and verify customer problems in test environments and work as the bridge between our local support organization and our R & D department evolving our products in compliance with what the market demands. Your main responsibilities will be to;
• Handle support cases of higher complexity, together with R & D
• Test and verify customer problems
• Handle competence development for local support engineers and run training for our local sales offices around the world
• Writing technical notes and FAQs for support questions
• Drive product technical and user documentation
• Be involved in different product development projects
The position involves limited traveling, about 20 days / year.
